That time of the year

It's the time of the year, that people count down to the 1st November to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. NaNoWriMo starts in another 12 days (for all those people in line of the Australian time zone) while the rest roughly 13 days. Are we all prepared?

If you don't know what NaNoWriMo is, well, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month that takes place every November 1st-3oth each year. You just write for a month and eventually you write a 50,000 word novel. Some people write over the 50,000 bench mark and that's fine. The aim is to write a 50,000 word novel in a month.

Thinking of joining? Well go to NaNoWriMo and sign up. I've done last year but I never got to the 50,000 word bench mark. Well, thios is the year that I'm planing to get to 50,000 words.

Here is the sypnopsis of my novel this year's NaNoWriMo:

"Lola is an average girl, well to mere mortals of the planet earth anyway. She's the "Chosen One" (to those who believe in the prophecies) to fight one on one to the Queen of the magical world, Veneficus. So when Lola, the apprentice of becoming a witch goes to the town of Amor, she has to abandon her knowledge of all things she learned from her teachers to become a hero to everyone, including someone who she never thought of before."

If you are wondering how I came up with the world Veneficus and Amor. They are latin words of magic (Veneficus) and love (Amor). I thought that instead of doing a Young Adult book like what I did last year, I am doing a fantasy book involving magic (witches mostly).

Happy: School (tomorrow) = seeing my frineds
Sad: Holidays finishing and still missing Japan.
Reading: Rowan the Strange, Chinese Cinderella and the Mystery of the Song Dynasty Painting and A Year in Girl's Hell: Trashed
Listening: Boarder Security (TV)

LOVE,
